On March 9, 2025, a Cease and Desist Letter was sent to Property Manager Kathy Scheiwe of Channel Point Apartments, managed by Greystar, addressing ongoing harassment, retaliation, and discriminatory conduct. Despite this formal notice, on March 14, 2025, the resident began receiving threatening letters and eviction warnings from Attorney Shawn Bankson of Kimball, Tirey & St. John LLP, allegedly based on false information provided by the property manager, which Mr. Bankson failed to investigate before taking action.
Since these events, multiple complaints have been filed against Mr. Bankson with the California State Bar for misconduct and unethical behavior related to this mat

After the resident continued filing complaints, Mr. Bankson’s client followed through on the threat and began sewer serving the resident filed a retalitory eviction on the client which included filing false court documents with the court, hiring private security to monitor the resident and their family as well as filing false work-place violence restraining orders to impact the residents employment.
